Intelligent Building Solutions

The Xtag Intelligent Building Solution provides information putting you in control combining two or more applications from asset tagging, access control, health and safety, security and time in attendance into one all encompassing, centrally managed tagging solution.

The building is fitted with tiny discrete digital radio recievers which are continuously in contact with Xtag range of miniature active tags, this allows information to be provided about assets, personnel, vehicles or stock. No other system provides this level of control.

A typical 'Intelligent Building' would see a member of staff arriving at the car park finds the secure barrier opens for them, the front door to reception opens allowing access, the long range reader in reception detects them and changes their status to 'IN'.

Depending upon what access has been allowed, the member of staff may then be able to access restricted areas such as IT Suites, Managers Offices or Boardrooms. When a staff member moves into a new area (via an Xtag reader), this registers their 'Last Location' into the system.

Should an emergency evacuation be required, all personnel leave the building and arrive at the outdoor muster point, a long range reader at this location detects their active ID cards and logs them as 'OUT', a printer at this location constantly updates the list providing valuable information for emergency service personnel.
